5 OVC firms on National Enterprises for Cultural Exports list

The Ministry of Commerce recently announced the National Enterprises and Programs for Cultural Exports list for 2021-2022, which includes five companies based in the East Lake High-tech Development Zone, also known as Optics Valley of China, or OVC. 

The five enterprises are Wuhan Weipai Network Technology Co, Wuhan Transn Information Technology Co, Wuhan Mingjie Technology Co, Wuhan Dongyou Technology Co, and Wuhan Dobit Information Technology Co. 

Wuhan Weipai Network Technology Co was founded in August 2013 and is committed to the research and operation of cultural and creative products. The recreational and social applications developed by the company boast more than 10 million users. 

Wuhan Transn Information Technology Co is a multilingual translation service provider. It seeks to offer language-related assistance to individuals and enterprises all over the world. The company has overcome bottlenecks inflicted by the expert quality control model, and has coordinated top translators, translation organizations, and translation machines from around the globe in order to combine the advantages of human translators and machine translation. 

Established in 2005, Wuhan Mingjie Technology Co is a professional firm that develops tool software and application platforms. It is also a high-tech corporation and an advanced technology service enterprise recognized by the Ministry of Science and Technology. It offers multimedia video and radio tool software and mobile device management tools to individual users, and its products are sold in North America, Europe, and Japan. 

Wuhan Dongyou Technology Co is an online game developer and operator. The company now has more than 300 employees, and its branches are scattered throughout China's big cities, including Beijing, Guangzhou, Chengdu, and many regions overseas. Games developed by the company have gained popularity in Canada, South Korea, Germany, and France, with the cumulative number of global game players surpassing 80 million. 

With a focus on developing and operating mobile games and other applications, Wuhan Dobit Information Technology Co ranked first in OVC's 2019 gazelle enterprise list. To date, games developed by the company boasts a cumulative download volume of 700 million.
