But it's in the evening when the full beauty of the park comes alive. It's when high-rise buildings on both sides of the Yangtze River, which cuts through the city, are illuminated by light show. The sight of skyscrapers covered in bright lights with the mighty river flowing in the middle is one of the most enchanting scenes.
And if you want to make it a once-in-a-lifetime experience, then just hop on a ferry as it gently cruises while you enjoy a beer or even a full meal available on board.
With so much to offer, it's not a surprise that Wuhan has once again become one of the top tourist destinations in the country.
Moreover, as international travel is unlikely to get back to its pre-pandemic level any time soon, it is safe to bet that more Chinese will head to local destinations like Wuhan.
This will also be the best way to show support to a city that experienced so much pain last year.
