Optics Valley inks more than 10 project agreements at world health expo

The 3rd World Health Expo opened in Wuhan, the capital of Central China's Hubei province, on April 8. More than 70 bio companies from national biological industrial bases participated in the event.
Bio companies from Wuhan East Lake High-tech Development Zone (Optics Valley of China) were among those that attended the expo.
During the event, agreements for more than 10 projects were signed by companies and Optics Valley. The agreements cover a range of projects, including an industrial park by Sinopharm Group, a medical innovation project by Wuhan United Imaging Zhirong Medical Technology and Tongji Hospital, as well as an immunization medicine research, development and production base project by Inmagene.
Sinopharm Group plans to build an "Optics Valley Sinopharm Building" in the zone to develop emerging businesses such as infection control, medical engineering, new pharmaceutical retail and medical big data. The facility will also focus on new business categories such as ophthalmic product distribution.
The world's first electrocardiogram machine for children was displayed at the event. It was developed by Wuhan Zoncare Bio-medical Electronics Co Ltd, a company located at the Biolake in Optics Valley.
