Wuhan Joy City to open at Optics Valley in December

Wuhan Joy City, a large urban commercial complex, will open to the public this December in East Lake High-tech Development Zone (Optics Valley of China) in Wuhan, the capital city of Central China's Hubei province.
Located in Optics Valley Central City, the project includes shopping malls, residential buildings, office buildings and more. It has a total construction area of nearly 700,000 square meters, of which shopping malls have a construction area of 140,000 sq m.
The project has an investment of 7 billion yuan ($1.07 billion) and will see annual sales of more than 1 billion yuan following completion.
The investment signing rate has exceeded 60 percent and brands such as Lumiere Pavilions, Huawei and Xiaomi will be introduced.
Following completion, an outdoor atrium covering an area of 6,000 sq m will offer space for performances, gatherings and relaxation. A 3,000-sq-m catering area will also be provided.
