The 11th China Bioindustry Convention & 3rd Bio-expo•Optics Valley of China is to be held at China Optics Valley Convention and Exhibition Center in Wuhan East Lake High-tech Development Zone (Optics Valley of China), Wuhan, central China’s Hubei province, from May 25 to 27.

China Bioindustry Convention is the largest-scale, highest-level and most influential event in the country’s bio sector.

Wuhan and Guangzhou were designated as the permanent venues of the event, and will take turns to be the host city from 2018.

This year’s event will focus on developing the bio-economy to improve people’s health.

More than 20 forums are expected to be held during the event, with the exhibition area totaling 20,000 square meters.

Besides summit forums, more than 250 companies from all over the world will exhibit their most advanced technologies and achievements during the event, with the event expected to attract more than 100,000 visitors.

Bioindustry experts from all over the world will gather at Optics Valley of China, and more than 300 will speak at the event. 

Optics Valley of China is now home to more than 1,800 biomedical companies, and has experienced rapid growth in its bioindustry in recent years.
