Various high-tech products were displayed at the 14th Optics Valley of China International Optoelectronic Exposition and Forum (OVC EXPO 2017), held at China Optics Valley Convention and Exhibition Center in Wuhan, Hubei province, on Nov 1.

With the theme of “Light Links World, Wisdom Leads Future”, this year’s expo contained three exhibition halls covering an area of 20,000 square meters, providing 900 exhibition stands for about 500 companies.

The expo was attended by nearly 3,000 global scholars as well as 32,000 visitors.

Many visitors were impressed by the various advanced technological products such as mobile phone screens and lithium batteries that can be folded without damaging their functions. A mobile phone enabling visitors to experience 3D effects without wearing 3D glasses also proved popular.

In addition, there were products on display with applications in nanometer scale processing, brittle materials processing, optical grinding, high-performance cutting, and aircraft production.
