On Feb 23, the Wuhan East Lake High-tech Development Zone (also known as Optics Valley) and the Asia Vital Components (AVC) signed a second-phase project cooperation agreement, deepening cooperation in the research and development of graphite heat conduction films.

Asia Vital Components is a world-leading thermal management company devoted to thermal solutions and the R&D of various heat-dissipation products. AVC settled in Optics Valley in 2012 and invested in the construction of AVC Fenghuang mountain industrial base. The production lines of spindles, computer cases and heat-dissipation modules are currently in a trial phase. In 2014, AVC also invested 120 million yuan ($17.43 million) to build a clean room and produce touch-control and camera modules.

AVC has recently invested another 500 million yuan to build a national-level laboratory, a group settlement center and an R&D and production base for graphite heat conduction films at the Fenghuang mountain industrial base, showing AVC’s trust in Optics Valley and its confidence and resolution to accelerated development.

The second-phase project of AVC, also launched in Optics Valley, will elevate its research, development and innovation capabilities as well as accelerating the layout improvement of optoelectronic industrial chains.
