A wine party was hosted in the Macao Special Administrative Region on Dec 4 to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the opening of the Macau International Airport.

Ho Hau Wah, vice-chairman of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, attended the gathering along with other officials and nearly 400 participants from various sectors to witness this historic moment.

The airport, located on Taipa Island in Macao and constructed on reclaimed land, opened at the end of 1995.
