Shen Yueyue, vice-chairwoman of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, met with Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) Secretary-General Zhang Ming and Nurlan Yermekbayev, who will be the next SCO secretary-general, in Beijing on Dec 17.

Shen, who is also president of the Good-Neighborliness, Friendship and Cooperation Commission of the SCO, talked with the pair about China's rotating presidency, SCO's people-to-people diplomacy and the development of the organization.
