A delegation from the Committee on Proposals of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC) visited the Central Committee of the Revolutionary Committee of the Chinese Kuomintang (RCCK) on Nov 29 to learn about the proposal work of the RCCK Central Committee since the first session of the 14th CPPCC National Committee, hear suggestions for improving proposal work in the coming year, and further enhance communication between the Committee on Proposals and the RCCK Central Committee.

A seminar was held on implementing the latest guiding principles of the CPPCC National Committee about proposal work during the visit. He Baoxiang, vice-chairman of the CPPCC National Committee and executive vice-chairman of the RCCK Central Committee, addressed the meeting.

He emphasized the need to study and implement the guiding principles of the third plenary session of the 20th Central Committee of the Communist Party of China to enhance the political stance of proposal work. Efforts are needed to improve the quality of proposals to help achieve the goals of Chinese modernization, he said, calling for upholding fundamental principles and breaking new ground in offering proposals in order to effectively enhance the effectiveness of the proposals. 

Noting that 2025 would be the "Year of Capacity Building" for the Central Committee of the RCCK, he pledged to maximize the unique strengths of the RCCK to elevate proposal work to new heights.

Liu Jiayi, head of the Committee on Proposals, introduced the purpose of the visit and outlined plans for proposal work in the coming year. 

The meeting was chaired by Gu Zhenchun, vice-chairman of the RCCK Central Committee, who also shared an update on the RCCK Central Committee's proposal work.

During the meeting, both sides exchanged views on improving proposal quality and enhancing the role of proposals.
