Liu Qibao, vice-chairman of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC) National Committee, led an inspection team consisting of non-CPC members of the CPPCC National Committee to South China's Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region and Southwest China's Yunnan province from June 7 to 14.

During the tour, the team inspected the protection of revolutionary relics and the construction of national cultural parks promoting the Long March spirit in a memorial park dedicated to the Battle of the Xiangjiang River during the Long March and a cemetery for Red Army martyrs.

Liu called on the team members to use their professional backgrounds to contribute to the protection and utilization of revolutionary heritage and the construction of Long March theme parks.

He also urged them to better fulfill their duties through offering ideological guidance, pooling more strengths, and giving suggestions, and contribute to ensuring a healthy and stable environment for economic and social development.
