Abstract:

The regulations on the administration of the employment of Taiwan, Hong Kong and Macao residents in the mainland was promulgated and implemented by the former ministry of labor and social security in 2005. It is a normative document governing the employment of Chinese citizens from Taiwan, Hong Kong and Macao in the Chinese mainland. The regulations have played a positive role in regulating and protecting the legitimate rights and interests of Taiwan, Hong Kong and Macao personnel in the Chinese mainland, and strengthening the management of employment of Taiwan, Hong Kong and Macao personnel by mainland employers, which has had a far-reaching impact. It has been more than 12 years since the implementation of the regulation, which needs to be reexamined and abolished.
