Abstract:

1. The National Development and Reform Commission should establish a comprehensive evaluation index of China's gender equality and women's development, and incorporate it into the comprehensive evaluation index system of economic and social development of the national and regional authorities and departments.

2. The National Bureau of Statistics and the relevant ministries and commissions should earnestly implement the notice on the list of key indicators of gender statistics in the programs for the development of Chinese women and the development of Chinese children issued by the State Council in 2006, incorporate gender statistics into the statistical report system of the state and relevant departments as soon as possible, establish a rolling sampling survey system for significant data gaps; make up for time utilization and social insurance for data collection gaps in sectors such as violence against women and poverty among women; provide high-quality statistic data to help the development and improvement of gender statistics, the regular monitoring and evaluation of gender equality and women's development into the national, regional and related fields of social development.
