Abstract: 

In the discussion and approval of the constitutional amendment during this year's National People's Congress, we propose to add the following supplementary provisions: 

1. A multi-party cooperation and political consultation system under the leadership of the Communist Party of China is a basic political system in China. 

2. The CPC and other parties reinforce the guideline of "long-term coexistence, mutual supervision, sincere treatment with each other and the sharing of weal or woe". 

3. The CPC and other parties cooperate closely and devotedly for the socialist cause. 

4. The legal status and terms of reference of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference in the Chinese political system should be specified in principle.
