Fujian province's first Joy City shopping complex is scheduled to be completed by the end of May this year.

The complex is located in the center area of Jimei New City, and has a total construction area of 158,000 square meters. It is the first flagship project of Joy City holdings to be built in Fujian and includes a seven-story shopping center (six above ground and one underground) and 1,200 parking spaces.

The shopping center is positioned as a "coastal artistic and romantic landmark", aiming to leverage the region's high-quality cultural, commercial, tourism, and educational resources to create a one-stop complex that integrates a fashion lifestyle center, a quality social center, and a romantic experience center.

To meet the needs of young and diverse consumers, Xiamen Joy City emphasizes the introduction of flagship brand stores. The complex is expected to feature over 280 brands, with 60 percent being first stores, new concept stores, and flagship stores.

It aims to become a culinary landmark and a social hotspot, utilizing the concept of flagship stores to boost commercial vitality.

The complex adopts the architectural design of Minnan-style roofs, seamlessly blending Minnan red brick architecture with the new Kah Kee style.

Additionally, the commercial podium of the shopping mall utilizes the commercial form of "arcade street buildings" commonly found along the Minnan coastal area, extending the urban interface.
