Xiamen builds platform to cultivate digital talents

The platform’s creation was guided by the Xiamen bureau of industry and information technology. Last June, the cooperation agreement for an “industrial transformation and upgrading talent training base” was jointly signed by the government and enterprises to create a smart transformation ecosystem comprised of universities, talents, enterprises, as well as industries.
According to officials, the platform’s curriculum system covers courses related to informatization, smart technology, digitization, and new technology. The platform also has functional modules like online learning, project distribution, and talent employment, forming a comprehensive operation platform, as well as realizing visual presentation of statistics.
Officials from the industry and information technology bureau said that the platform will continue to expand more industry information systems, including smart manufacturing, urban governance, integrated circuits, as well as credit and innovation industries to help Xiamen accelerate its cultivation of digital talents and its building of a high-end talent ecosystem.
