Performing judges' duties faithfully was stressed by He Xiaorong, president of the Second Circuit Court of the Supreme People's Court, during his visit in Heilongjiang province on Feb 23.

A delegation of the Second Circuit Court, led by He, visited the enforcement command center and litigation service center of the Heilongjiang Provincial High Court and held a seminar with judicial staff at courts in the province, during which the 2018 work reports of Heilongjiang courts were delivered.

He pointed out that judges must perform their duties and deal with cases such as intellectual property protection affairs and others related to both civil and criminal laws to support the improvement of the business climate and offer a judicial guarantee of the revitalization of Northeast China.

He also required courts to administrate the principle of "justice for the people" to meet the increasing judicial needs of the public.
