Man detained over roadblock
Lawyers from the Yongding District People's Court of Longyan, in East China's Fujian province, solved a dispute recently, helping six pig farmers to restore their businesses.
In August of 2015, a man surnamed Xu blocked a road often used for pig transport by six local pig breeders with discarded vehicles and concrete columns because the farmers stopped buying fodder from him.
In October of the same year, the six farmers filed a suit against Xu in the local court and won the case after a court investigation.
After Xu refused to remove the blocks in accordance with the court decision, six farmers asked for compulsory enforcement. The debris was removed and the defendant was detained.
"Thanks to the law enforcement officers, the road has reopened," said one of the farmers. "business is back to normal for us breeders."
