Uncovering ancient civilization at Dawenkou Site Museum in Tai'an

Located along both banks of the Dawen River in Tai'an, Shandong province, the Dawenkou Site Museum immortalizes one of the most important birthplaces of Chinese civilization.

In recent years, extensive exploration covering a 3.5 million square meter area around the site has led to the discovery of two new areas measuring 69,000 and 32,000 sq m, respectively. These findings lay a solid foundation for further in-depth research into the Dawenkou culture.

At the Dawenkou Site Museum, a plethora of exquisite artifacts and abundant visual materials vividly depict the lives of prehistoric humans in the Haidai region, centered in today's Shandong province. 

With the continuous rise of enthusiasm for cultural and historical exploration, the Dawenkou Site Museum has evolved into a window showcasing Chinese civilization, attracting an increasing number of visitors eager to explore this rich heritage.
