The orchard has implemented an agricultural IoT system, embracing digital management and leveraging IoT, mobile internet, and cloud computing technologies to achieve intelligent irrigation, watering, and spraying. The orchard is divided into nine zones and 34 subzones, with each plot meticulously labeled and numbered with sensors.
These sensors continuously collect and transmit real-time data on temperature, humidity, soil fertility, and other critical parameters to the data monitoring screen in the orchard management room, providing invaluable insights for informed agricultural decision-making.
The sensors' lithium batteries eliminate the need for external power connections, enhancing safety and reliability.
In addition, fruit growth sensors monitor fruit size and development, recording the water, temperature, and weather conditions essential for the healthy growth of apples throughout the year.
The integration of smart technology into the orchard's operations exemplifies the transformative potential of digital agriculture. By embracing innovation, Liujiapo village is paving the way for a greener, more sustainable, and technologically advanced future for traditional agriculture.
