Liaocheng Mayor Zhang Baishun: Strengthening the manufacturing industry

Manufacturing is the foundation of Liaocheng. The city has launched a three-year action plan in the sector, focusing on 12 leading industries and 20 industrial chains.

Since the beginning of this year, Liaocheng has started 118 manufacturing projects with an investment of more than 100 million yuan. The added value of the industries above designated scale in the city is expected to increase by 8 percent from January to February and 10 percent in the first quarter of this year.
