Chinese Vice Premier Sun Chunlan will attend the opening ceremony of the first Global Health Forum of the Boao Forum for Asia in Qingdao, Shandong province and will deliver a keynote speech, Foreign Ministry spokesman Geng Shuang announced on June 5.

The forum, which will run from June 11 to 12, will feature high-level dialogues on topics such as aging, digital healthcare, microorganisms, and youth health.

The forum will be hosted by the Shandong provincial government and the Boao Forum for Asia, a nongovernmental and nonprofit international organization. Margaret Chan Fung Fu-chun, former director-general of the World Health Organization, will chair the event.
