Global Health Forum to open in Qingdao

The first Global Health Forum of the Boao Forum for Asia will be held in West Coast New Area of Qingdao, Shandong province from June 10-12.
The health forum was initiated in 2018 by the Boao Forum for Asia. It serves as a representative and authoritative platform for political, business, and academic integration, high-end dialogue, and pragmatic cooperation in the field of health.

Margaret Chan Fung Fu-chun, advisory committee member of the Boao Forum for Asia, is the president of the Global Health Forum.
Guests, including the heads of national health departments, representatives from health-related international agencies and non-governmental organizations, health industry representatives, entrepreneurs, investors, and well-known scientists, will attend the forum, conducting exchanges and discussions on topics related to health.
The agenda for the forum includes the opening ceremony, 28 sub-forums, four roadshows for innovative projects, 16 important activities, and the opening ceremony for the Global Health Exposition.
Former political figures and health ministers of a number of countries, as well as officials of international organizations have confirmed their participation in the forum.
In addition, academicians and academic leaders, as well as entrepreneurs, investors, and scientists in the field of innovative health will also be present as important guests.
Chinese participants include policy makers at the municipal and provincial levels, business representatives from various fields, as well as scholars from major universities and research institutions. The total number of participants is expected to exceed 2,000.
The forum will highlight three themes of "achieving health for all people," "promoting health through innovation,” and “integrating health into all policies,” featuring rich explorations and high specifications on the topics.
It will build China's first top-level dialogue platform in the field of healthcare and bring together a multitude of cutting-edge academic achievements.
It will promote in-depth exchanges among government officials, scholars, businessmen, and researchers, accelerating the implementation of health-related policies and promoting the development of the healthcare industry.
The forum will also work towards the early realization of the UN 2030 Sustainable Development Goals and the Healthy China 2030 plan.
