This is a popular dish with the Bouyei and Miao ethnic people in Anlong, Qianxinan. The rice has a special quality and is considered the king of local rice. It has a growing period of around 180 days, when it takes in nutrients and ripens in autumn. This dish is made by stewing, boiling, frying or baking. If boiled, it tastes gentle, fresh, smooth, cool, fragrant and delicious and has its own unique characteristics.
