Senior Chinese legislator meets with Australian Senate president
Tie Ning, vice-chairwoman of the Standing Committee of China's National People's Congress, met with Sue Lines, president of the Australian Senate, in Beijing on Oct 15.
The two sides discussed issues of common interest such as strengthening exchanges between legislative bodies of the two countries and advancing the China-Australia comprehensive strategic partnership.
