Ye Niuping elected mayor of Xi'an by municipal legislature
XI'AN -- Ye Niuping was elected mayor of Xi'an, capital of Northwest China's Shaanxi province, on Saturday.
The election was held during the fourth session of the 17th Xi'an Municipal People's Congress, the local legislature.
