Wu Weihua

Wu Weihua, male, Han ethnicity, was born in September 1956 and is from Xiaoyi, Shanxi province. He is a member of the Jiusan Society. Wu began his first job in December 1974. He graduated from the State University of New Jersey where he completed a graduate program in plant sciences. He holds a Doctor of Science degree and a professional title of professor. He is an academician of the Chinese Academy of Sciences.

Wu is currently vice-chairman of the 14th NPC Standing Committee and chairman of the Jiusan Society Central Committee.
