Chen suggested the Chinese government promulgate policies and measures to support the low-carbon development of the automobile industry, which will be a continuation of current fiscal new energy vehicle policies and further reduce the cost of such vehicles' manufacturing, transportation and use. Chen also proposed that China should strengthen the industrial chain and low-carbon technology's research and development and innovation, and continuously improve the construction of charging piles and other supporting facilities in an effort to encourage the consumption of low-carbon products.
