The Rudong market regulation bureau and the Yangkou Port Economic Development Zone administrative committee invited Huakai (Zhongshan) Intellectual Property Agency to conduct an IP-related activity in Gold Hongye Paper (Nantong) Co Ltd on March 14.
After gaining a comprehensive understanding of the company's businesses and the difficulties it faces in IPR application, staff members from Huakai explained issues regarding IP creation, utilization, protection, and management.
The legal manager of Gold Hongye Nantong also raised two issues during the meeting. First, the company had faced difficulties in obtaining bank loans as its profile on the National Enterprise Credit Information Publicity System website hadn't been updated after a change in board members in 2022. Second, the company has concerns about potential repercussions for using old packaging with its previous address.
The Rudong market regulation bureau promptly contacted departments responsible for maintaining the publicity system website to update the information. Additionally, after discussion and verification, the bureau confirmed that if the company's production conditions remain unchanged, despite the address change, the company can continue to use the old packaging for up to six months.
Furthermore, the bureau pledged to provide help if the company encounters punishments for using the old packaging.
