Rudong launches agricultural, cultural, and tourism exhibition in Shanghai
Rudong county in Nantong, Jiangsu province, opened an agricultural, cultural, and tourism integration exhibition at the Rongpu Gardening Activity Center in Shanghai on Jan 18.
The event, which will run until Feb 1, focuses on showcasing the county's unique cultural charm, tourism resources, and high-quality products.
Three core sections have been set up: a feast of intangible cultural heritage (ICH), a Spring Festival goods market, and a Spring Festival blossoms exhibition — presenting the cultural bounty, local charm, and industrial vitality of Rudong.

In the ICH exhibition area, rosewood carvings, Nantong musical kites, and Rudong peasant paintings are displayed. The ICH inheritors are also invited to teach on-site.
At the Spring Festival goods market, specialties such as Rudong seafood, Langshan Mountain chicken, and selenium-rich corn are sold on-site. Special snacks such as seafood pancakes are available to guests for free.
In the Spring Festival blossoms exhibition area, high-quality butterfly orchids cultivated in Rudong bloom beautifully, adding a festive atmosphere ahead of the upcoming Spring Festival.
During the event, people also have the chance to participate in fun activities such as intangible cultural heritage experiences and writing Spring Festival couplets.
