More of the high-quality products made in Nantong, Jiangsu province, will be available on JD platform, according to a recent meeting held in the city.

This event was designed to promote close collaboration between Nantong's key industries and JD Group. By utilizing JD's robust supply chain, digital technology, and network, the initiative seeks to help Nantong products grow in both domestic and international markets, accelerating their global reach.

Currently, Nantong has developed six major industrial clusters, each valued at over 100 billion yuan ($14.18 billion). These include high-end textiles, high-end equipment, shipbuilding and marine engineering, electronic information, new materials, and new energy. Nantong's home textile industry dominates half of the national market. The city's sports equipment industry generates nearly 10 billion yuan in output, with exports of fitness equipment leading the way in East China. This solid industrial foundation provides a rich and high-quality supply source for Nantong products on JD platform.

During the meeting, JD Group provided a detailed overview of the platform's exclusive rights and support plans tailored for Nantong quality products, focusing on key industrial sectors such as home textiles, apparel, electric tools, fitness equipment, and logistics.

The event also featured efficient and precise matching sessions. Participating Nantong enterprises were divided into groups based on their industry sectors and engaged with top e-commerce representatives from across the country, discussing specific requirements and collaboration models.
