An Industrial Development Cooperation Symposium was held on Nov 20 in the Chongchuan Economic Development Zone (CCEDZ), Chongchuan district, Nantong. 

Eight key projects were successfully signed during the event, covering innovative areas like intelligent equipment and new energy storage, providing a strong boost for industrial upgrading and regional development. 

The new energy storage R&D and manufacturing project aims to create a headquarters and production facility to support large-scale development of smart energy storage systems. Meanwhile, the Shipbuilding and Offshore Hydraulic Equipment Manufacturing Base project intends to focus on R&D and production of premium offshore equipment, including hydraulic systems and deep-sea winches. 

As of now, CCEDZ has established industrial clusters in automotive components, shipbuilding and offshore engineering, integrated circuits, and smart transportation, totaling nearly 7,000 enterprises. The output value of its leading industries accounts for 78.6 percent. 

Following the signing of this batch of high-quality projects, the total number of major industrial projects signed and settled in the zone has risen to 16 this year, accelerating the development of a more competitive and resilient modern industrial system.
