The 2025 Yangtze River Delta Region Agricultural Products Supply and Marketing Fair, along with the Shaanxi Agricultural Products Promotion Activity for Jiangsu-Shaanxi Cooperation, was held at Nantong Huanxi Cultural Square from Nov 14 to 16. 

This three-day event united more than 3,000 high-quality supply and marketing products from Shanghai, Jiangsu province, Zhejiang province, Anhui province, and Shaanxi province, offering residents an engaging consumption experience and building a two-way bridge for agricultural production and sales. 

The enticing scent of traditional Shanghai pastries and the subtle flavor of West Lake Longjing tea and Jinhua ham from Zhejiang attracted many visitors. The Nantong local market was lively and busy. In just three days, nearly a thousand jars of fermented bean curd were sold, and items such as Haimen goat meat, taro, and Yisheng wine were quickly bought out. 

The event also features special exhibition halls from Qinghai province, Zhangjiajie, Yili, and other regions, which broke down geographical boundaries, allowing residents to unlock flavors from thousands of miles away right at their doorstep. 

"Some local specialties I'd only heard about online before, but now I can taste and buy them on the spot — it's a real treat!" said Ms Li, a resident who spoke highly of the event. 

Notably, the Jiangsu-Shaanxi partnership has yielded outstanding results. Local products like Shaanxi Liangjiahe millet, Xuxiang kiwifruit, and Chang'an pastries have effectively satisfied local tastes through enhanced packaging and improved flavors.
