The 1688 Nantong Home Textiles Selection Center opened in Tongzhou district on Sept 15, marking a pivotal step in the digital transformation of Nantong's home textile industry. 

Spanning 4,000 square meters, the center features six specialized exhibition halls dedicated to bedding, pillows, and summer cooling products, exhibiting over 5,000 high-quality Nantong home textile items. The center is also equipped with 15 professional live-streaming studios, providing manufacturers with dedicated facilities to expand sales channels through live-commerce. 

Since starting trial operations in April, the center's online sales have exceeded 50 million yuan ($7.03 million). With the launch of the offline selection center, annual sales for Nantong home textiles are projected to surpass 1 billion yuan. 

In the future, the center plans to regularly organize procurement and investment promotion events, as well as product selection fairs, to attract buyers, e-commerce sellers, and multi-channel network agencies from across China and around the world, further driving the development of Nantong's home textile industry.
