The Jiangsu Art Museum's masterpieces are currently being showcased at the Nantong Museum in Nantong, East China's Jiangsu province.

Running until June 22, the exhibition offers a glimpse into Jiangsu's artistic legacy and the evolution of Chinese ink painting.

It features over 40 works by modern masters. Highlights include pieces from the New Jinling School, a pivotal post-1949 art school. Pioneered by nine artists, including Fu Baoshi and Qian Songyan, the school blended traditional and Western techniques to depict China's landscapes, social progress, and daily life, redefining ink art for a new era.
