Thirty projects from Haimen district, Nantong, Jiangsu province, were included in the first batch of major projects for Nantong in 2025. These projects span various fields, including strategic emerging industries, advanced manufacturing, and modern services.

Of the selected projects, 23 are active and set for implementation, while seven are in the reserve stage.

Strategic emerging industries are a key focus for Haimen's investment and project attraction efforts, with 17 selected projects falling into this category, making up 56.67 percent of Haimen's total selection.

Among the standout projects is the Nanya 5G high-frequency, high-speed electronic circuit substrate project, which was signed last year to settle in the Haimen Development Zone. The project is led by Nanya New Material Technology Co Ltd, a leading high-tech enterprise specializing in designing, researching, developing, and manufacturing composite materials like copper-clad laminates and bonding sheets.

With a total investment of 5 billion yuan ($687.51 million), the project will cover 27 hectares and include 270,000 square meters of construction space. It aims to produce 15 million square meters of high-frequency copper-clad laminates annually.
