Jiangsu Shipping College continues partnership with Polar Research Institute of China

Polar Research Institute of China and Jiangsu Shipping College recently renewed their comprehensive cooperation agreement at the college in Nantong, Jiangsu province.
In the future, they will deepen their cooperation in areas such as the training of excellent talents in maritime technology, marine engineering technology, and ship electronic and electrical engineering, strengthen information and technology sharing in maritime education and training, maritime technology, and marine popular science, as well as offer guidance on related polar crew training courses.
The Jiangsu Shipping College has long been committed to building a distinctive brand of water transportation education and actively engaging in in-depth cooperation with industries, enterprises, universities, and local authorities to cultivate skilled maritime talents.
Since the school started cooperating with the institute in 2016, a total of 11 teachers from the school have personally participated in polar scientific research expeditions in the Arctic and Antarctic regions. The valuable experience gained from these expeditions has enhanced their professionalism, tempered their character, and made positive contributions to the integration and development of China's polar scientific research and maritime education.
