Two homestays in Nantong, Jiangsu province, were recently certified by the Jiangsu Tourism Star-Grade Hotel Appraisal Committee as national Category C homestays, local media reported.

One of them is the Sheyuan Garden Homestay, which is located in the Tangzha Ancient Town. It preserves the elegance and tranquility of traditional Chinese residences while cleverly integrating the convenience and comfort of modern design. The homestay owner has incorporated elements of Nantong culture such as blue calico and Shen embroidery elements into the rooms, immersing guests in a nostalgic historical atmosphere.

The owner also regularly organizes cultural lectures, intangible cultural heritage experiences, and other public welfare activities, allowing guests to experience a leisurely, slow-paced lifestyle during their stay.

The other homestay, Garden Castle Homestay, is located in Tongzhou, just a stone's throw away from the beautiful South Yellow Sea, and closely connected to the picturesque coastal sightseeing belt. The guestrooms are clean, spacious, and bright, while the homestay owner is hospitable and aims to provide the lodgers with a relaxing and comfortable environment to stay.
