With the official launch of the Hai'an Old Freight Yard on July 1, the capacity of sea-rail intermodal trains from Hai'an to Ningbo Zhoushan Port and Shanghai Luchao Port has expanded from 38 to 50 cars per train. The weekly frequency of these trains has increased to 20, totaling approximately 850 cars and 1,700 standard containers. Upon arrival at ports, the goods are shipped worldwide by sea.

The sea-rail intermodal trains serve as a crucial link connecting the downstream Yangtze River region with Shanghai and Ningbo ports, acting as a vital logistics channel for supporting foreign trade. They are valued by export-oriented enterprises for their strong transport capacity and cost advantages.

This development underscores Hai'an's role in facilitating efficient logistics solutions, enhancing regional connectivity, and supporting global trade operations through seamless sea-rail transportation services.
