14th China Nantong Jianghai Talent Entrepreneurship Week to open

The 14th China Nantong Jianghai Talent Entrepreneurship Week is set to take place in Nantong, Jiangsu province, from July 12 to 16, according to a press conference held on July 8.
Revolving around traditional, emerging, and future industries and highlighting a variety of high-caliber talents, the event is expected to showcase the environment for innovation and starting businesses in Nantong.
The entrepreneurship week will include an opening ceremony and 20 activities organized by different government departments, local districts, and counties.
The opening ceremony will witness the release of demands for industrial talents, the signing of projects, and story sharing by high-profile talents who have started businesses in the city. Academicians have also been invited to share their insights on the development of the marine industry, computing power, and the general artificial intelligence industry at the ceremony.
The 20 activities will include the third Nantong Jianghai Talent Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition, a tour for 7,500 university students in the city, and project matchmaking activities.
After 13 years of development, the China Nantong Jianghai Talent Entrepreneurship Week has emerged as a significant platform for Nantong to attract professionals.
To date, the event has been participated in by over 130 academicians of the Chinese Academy of Sciences and Chinese Academy of Engineering and more than 24,000 high-end talents. It has also helped Nantong secure over 1,000 projects and venture capital valued at 12 billion yuan ($1.65 billion).
