The Nantong Tongzhou Agricultural Product Promotion and Investment Conference was held in the city of Laixi, Shandong province on May 14.

The event aims to learn from Laixi, which is known for its advancements in agricultural modernization, and accelerate the development of Tongzhou district in Nantong, Jiangsu province, into a leading agricultural district.

Seventeen agricultural entities from Tongzhou showcased over 100 high-quality agricultural products. In addition to traditional specialty products such as Deyin blue printed cloth, Shigang fermented bean curd, and Xiting crispy biscuits, emerging products like Shizong blueberries attracted significant attention.

At the event, agreements for six projects involving fields such as facility agriculture, deep processing of agricultural products, and seedling cultivation were signed, with a total investment of nearly 580 million yuan ($80.26 million).
