At the 135th Canton Fair, which opened on April 15, Jiangsu Flint M&T's general manager, Cui Xiaojun, expressed confidence in securing new orders.
Like other power tool companies in Ruyi village, Lyusigang town, Qidong, Flint started as a small workshop and has grown significantly over the years. However, unlike others, Flint has focused solely on the international market and specializes in alternating current (AC) products.
Cui has been actively participating in international trade shows, keeping an eye on the latest market trends, while constantly investing in research and development to diversify Flint's product lineup. Flint's products now cover all categories of AC-powered tools.
With the expansion of production scale, Flint built a new 20,000-square-meter factory last year, equipped with automated production lines and staffed with new technical personnel for product development.
The newly installed automated stator production equipment can produce 2,300 stators per day, more than double the previous capacity of 1,000. This increased capacity has allowed Cui to raise Flint's annual output target from over 90 million yuan ($12.42 million) to 150 million yuan. Flint previously shipped products to over 10 countries; now it aims to reach over 20.
Following the Canton Fair, Cui will head to Dubai in the United Arab Emirates to explore the hardware tools market in the Middle East, a region he is eager to enter.
