The 2024 Nantong High-Tech Industrial Development Zone (NHIZ) talent attraction event was held in Xi'an, Shaanxi province from March 26 to 29.

A total of 20 companies participated in the event. The purpose of the activity was to strengthen cooperation and exchange between Jiangsu and Shaanxi in terms of government, education, and business, and to encourage more graduates from universities in Shaanxi to work in Nantong, as well as to attract more surplus labor from Shaanxi to work in Nantong.

On March 26, a promotional event was held at Xi'an Jiaotong University, attracting more than 120 faculty and students from the university. Following the promotional event, job fairs were held at Xi’an Jiaotong University, Xidian University, Shaaxin Vocational and Technical College, and Xi’an Vocational University of Information. Nearly 2,000 job-seeking students participated in face-to-face discussions, and 426 resumes were received.

On March 29, a recruitment event was held at Miaoxiang Square, where more than 1,000 local unemployed university graduates, surplus rural labor, and retired servicemen engaged in on-site discussions. A total of 98 resumes were collected.
