Leer Environment achieves breakthrough in fly ash utilization
In January of this year, Leer Environment Technology Co Ltd, located in Dongshe town, Tongzhou district, Nantong, Jiangsu province passed the acceptance test for China's first demonstration line combining fly ash with cotton production.
This marks a significant breakthrough in China's fly ash resource utilization technology.
As a leading environmental equipment company in Dongshe, Leer Environment stands as a domestic leader in the disposal of fly ash from solid waste incineration. The company is also recognized as both a national-level "little giant" enterprise and a national high-tech enterprise, holding over 100 patents and commanding a domestic market share of 25 percent.
Currently, the prevailing method for domestic fly ash disposal involves solidification and landfilling, which consume a large amount of land resources. Through innovative research and development, Leer Environment has transformed fly ash into class A level fireproof insulation rock wool material, meeting the national standard for rock wool. This achievement signifies the conversion of waste from harmless to resourceful. The company expects to install three to four sets of fly ash cooperative cotton production lines this year.
