Rudong county in Nantong, Jiangsu Province, has become a hub for companies specializing in the new materials industry in recent years.

One such company is Nantong Comens New Materials Co Ltd, which focuses on the research and production of advanced composite materials, functional transportation materials, low-carbon coating materials, new energy materials, and optoelectronic display materials. It has been recognized as a national high-tech enterprise.

Nantong Comens' 46,000-metric-ton electronic new energy adhesive project covers an area of approximately 3,000 square meters, with a total investment of around 110 million yuan ($15.28 million). The project includes production lines for various new energy electronic adhesives, with an annual production capacity of 46,000 tons. These products find wide applications in emerging industries such as new energy power batteries, automobiles, electronics, and photovoltaic components.

Feng Zheng, vice-general manager of the company, stated, "With our excellent product performance and stable supply, Nantong Comens has established long-term and stable cooperation relationships with industry-leading enterprises such as AMB InterPac Containers, BYD, and HIK Vision."

This year, the company plans to launch two new projects, which will increase its total production capacity to 170,000 tons and add 3 billion yuan in output value. These projects will also help the company transform into a digitalized and intelligent factory, further promoting its high-quality development.
