Hai'an companies in full swing post Spring Festival
Enterprises in Hai'an, a county-level city in Nantong, Jiangsu province, have accelerated the pace of production recovery following the conclusion of the Spring Festival holiday.
As of Feb 20, a total of 1,112 above-designated-size enterprises have resumed operations in the city, achieving a resumption rate of 88 percent.
At Jiangsu Dongcai New Materials Co Ltd in the city, workers are busy on a production line capable of producing 20,000 metric tons of thin film for screen displays annually. The company has a backlog of production orders scheduled through the end of February.
Meanwhile, in the heavy equipment manufacturing sector, Jiangsu Apex Heavy Industries Co Ltd has experienced a rapid surge in orders. The company's workshop employees are working to fulfill orders, particularly those for gearboxes and associated components, set to be shipped to Finland later this month, according to Jiang Bing, who is in charge of the company.
Established in 2017, Jiangsu Apex is focused on equipment manufacturing, installation and renovation, and equipment design. Its primary products include supporting equipment for ships, mining machinery, and metallurgical machinery, catering to Global Fortune 500 shipbuilding enterprises. The company mainly exports its products to countries such as Germany, Finland, Italy, Norway, and others.
Looking ahead, Apex is poised to expand its business further this year, with an expected doubling of production value. Currently, the company's order production plan is scheduled through 2025, reflecting a positive outlook for sustained growth.
