Fengli town in Rudong county, Nantong, Jiangsu province is witnessing a rapid transformation in its industrial landscape, with 10 cutting-edge tech companies having started operating in the town this year.

Nantong Maxwell Electromechanical Equipment Co Ltd, which specializes in products that use magnetic field technology for material sorting and separation, is one such company.

Thanks to the booming sectors of new energy lithium batteries and integrated circuit packaging testing materials, the company has experienced a significant uptick in sales.

In response to this growth, the company expanded its facilities by an additional 1,300 square meters this year, increasing its production capacity by 30 percent. In the first 11 months of this year, the company reported a 30-percent year-on-year increase in taxable sales.

Another standout is Yancai New Materials (Jiangsu) Co Ltd, located in the Fengfa Industrial Park in the town. This company focuses on high-tech wall decorative materials that are both eco-friendly and safe. With plans to commence full-scale production on 16 production lines by May next year, the company anticipates a production value of nearly 100 million yuan ($13.97 million).

Similarly, Nantong Super Micro New Materials Shaping Technology Co Ltd in the town saw its workshop recognized as a municipal-level intelligent workshop. Leveraging digital capabilities, the company has achieved a 50-percent increase in taxable sales this year.
