The 2023 Rudong-Shenzhen Industrial Development and Cooperation Conference was held in Shenzhen on Dec 15.

The event witnessed the signing of several project agreements related to artificial intelligence, semiconductors, and new materials.

The conference was among efforts made by Rudong county in Nantong, Jiangsu province to promote industrial transformation.

To reach that goal, Rudong Economic Development Zone, located in the county, plays an important role and has formed a modern industrial system consisting of major industries such as intelligent equipment manufacturing, electronic information and safety.

To expand the scale and diversity of industry, RDEDZ has been focusing on attracting projects and has set up several investment teams which aim to introduce projects related to high-end equipment manufacturing, electronic information, new materials, semiconductors, healthcare, safety and wind power in regions such as the Yangtze River Delta and Pearl River Delta.

Throughout this year, the zone has attracted four projects invested by foreign enterprises, with a total investment of $280 million.
