Haimen companies achieve fruitful results at 6th CIIE
Haimen district, Nantong, Jiangsu province sent delegations from 208 companies to the sixth China International Import Expo held in Shanghai from Nov 5 to 10.
The companies achieved great success during the event, with prospective orders worth $72.94 million signed.
Qian Feng, a representative of Nantong Huixin New Materials Technology Co based in the district, said that he visited the technology equipment and automobile exhibition areas and had quite a few unexpected gains in cutting-edge technologies.
Authorities also outlined the district's business environment and favorable investment policies, and several participants expressed their desire to conduct a field survey and seek more cooperation in fields such as intelligent transformation and digital upgrading.
Zhou Zhanxian, president of Jiangsu Kelly Embroidery Co, said that his company not only gained a group of customers and orders at the fair, but also promoted its embroidery techniques to more people.
The expo featured eight main exhibition halls, including the Food and Agricultural Product Exhibition Area, Automobile Exhibition Area, and Consumer Goods Exhibition Area. Fifteen major global automobile brands, 10 industrial electrical enterprises, 10 medical device companies, five shipping companies, four grain merchants, and three mining giants participated in the event, showcasing over 400 new products, technologies, and services.
