Chongchuan, as the primary urban area of Nantong, stands out as a hub of industrial development, innovation, urban functionality, and high-profile talent. In recent years, it has prioritized the dual engines of advanced manufacturing and modern services to boost development. This approach has helped it lead the city in terms of GDP.
The district secured 37th in the 2023 list of top the 100 counties in China, according to a recent report released by CCID Consulting Co Ltd.
Chongchuan has fostered a close partnership with Beijing and attracted numerous businesses from the city, including State-owned enterprises such as Cosco Shipping, China Tobacco, China National Building Material Group, and DigApis, a high-tech enterprise.
Yang Wanping, the vice Party secretary of Chongchuan, said at the event that he hopes more entrepreneurs from Beijing expand their businesses in the district to jointly drive Chongchuan's rapid development.
